Booster Fund – expression of Interest (eligibility)

Step 1 of the Booster Fund Expression of Interest.

Please read the Booster Fund application guidance to check what support is available and eligibility before completing this form.

To be eligible, you must tick all the boxes.

Before you can start you'll need to confirm the following:

Is your community business and project going to be based in England?
Find about support outside of England

Will your community business be trading and aiming to generate a profit?
We will ask for evidence of how you intend to make a profit in your business plan if you progress to the next stage.
Find out about funding and support

Please confirm you meet all of the following community business criteria.

Please note, you will be asked to explain how you meet each of these values, if you reach the next stage of the application process.

Local roots – a business started by local people that will benefit the community around it.

Accountability to the local community – the local community has a genuine say in how the business is run.

Trade for the benefit of the local community – community businesses sell services and products in and around their local area.

Broad community impact – community businesses engage with a variety of different groups in their community and address different community needs.
They may have a specific focus on a disadvantaged group, or support the local community more widely.
